As seen by the eyes of an outsider

This is a wonderful picture by Michelle Keil as the last musher left Eagle during the 2019 Yukon Quest. Our blog https://www.bushalaskaexpeditions.com/news is covering some of the information and post by Michelle after she spent time at the Eagle Checkpoint and was out on the trail with our wonderful sled dogs. The coming days will have more posts by Michelle. It is wonderful to see someone take the time to find out what is true and what is not with all the mis-information that is out there by anti's who believe that a sled dog doing what it loves to do is abuse.

Michelle Keil has been a wonderful client of ours for a couple of years. This year she came into Eagle and was a volunteer at the Yukon Quest Dog Sled Race which is a 1000 mile race along wilderness trails in Canada and the US. Michelle has a wonderful way with words and a logical mind that sees the facts and reports on them and not false narratives that are being circulated. She has some very interesting posts that show what this race is about and the mushers and their dogs from an outsiders viewpoint.
